The new FlexView system provides full face and eye protection with a slim, lightweight, powered air purifying respirator. For chipping, grinding, or preparation, the user simply lifts the spring mounted Speedglas filter assembly. The spring holds the auto-darkening filter securely on top of the helmet, giving the welder a big clear view through a clear polycarbonate faceshield. The faceshield meets the ANSI Z87.1-2003 industrial eye and face protection standard, which does not recommend "filter or tinted filters that restrict light trasmittance" when chipping or grinding.

Available with either just the particulate filter or with both the particulate filter and vapor cartidge. Available filter options include: shade 10, 11, 12, or variable shade 9-13. Lens also available in standard size (3.57" x 1.68") or wide view (4.09" x 2.13").
